The actor who survived being buried under a snowplow on New Year’s Day appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel Show on Tuesday, where he discussed the “best thing” that occurred as a result of the tragedy.
He disclosed, “I stopped smoking. It’s simple… the simplest method to cease smoking. I couldn’t fathom ceasing smoking, I’d be a human wreck, but because I nearly died, I didn’t even consider it. It was a breeze.”
“My initial conscious thought was ‘Holy crap! My schedule is clear for the remainder of the year. I was like ‘Yes!’ When asked what the greatest aspect of the entire incident was, the 52-year-old responded, “I started making plans.”
On January 1, Jeremy Renner suffered thoracic trauma after being struck by a snowplow. The actor had to be transported to the hospital by air ambulance and spent months in intensive care.
