Bebe Rexha smacked in the face with phone during concert, claims doing ‘good’ 2023
Bebe Rexha, a singer who was hurt in the face when a guy threw a cell phone at her during a concert in New York City, has stated that she is recovering fine. Bebe Rexha was injured when a man hurled the phone at her.
People, a publication specializing in celebrity news and gossip, reports that an individual by the name of Nicolas Malvagna has been detained in connection with the attack. During Rexha’s act on Sunday evening at The Rooftop at Pier 17 in lower Manhattan, she was taken to the ground by an audience member.
The singer, who was 33 at the time, was in the middle of a song when the phone hit her on the forehead, causing a split in her eyebrow that required stitches.
Nicolas Malvagna was detained for assault.
Fans took video of the incident and uploaded it to Twitter, where it can be seen that she was helped off the stage and given medical attention inside the venue.
The artist who is known for her song “Say My Name” posted a photo on her official Instagram account showing her with a black eye and stitches. Rexha wrote, “I’m good,” in reference to both her physical well-being and her most recent song.
Malvagna, who resides in Manalapan, New Jersey, is being held accountable for allegedly hurling the phone. According to the New York Police Department (NYPD), the individual, who is 27 years old, was taken into custody at the location and charged with felony assault for allegedly using his mobile phone as a weapon.
It has been reported by the police that Rexha was transported to a local hospital where her status is now listed as stable.
It has been announced that Rexha will perform in Philadelphia on Tuesday as part of her “Best F*n Night of My Live Tour,” which is in promotion of her latest album, “Bebe.”
