Ben Affleck kisses Jennifer Lopez during ‘The Mother’ premiere 2023
Jennifer Lopez and her spouse Ben Affleck shared a passionate kiss on the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of ‘The Mother starring Jennifer Lopez. On Wednesday, the couple attended the special screening with smiles on their faces. The newlyweds appeared as in love as ever while kissing and holding each other close.
Jennifer glowed in a shimmering long taupe coat and coordinating skirt. Affleck, on the other hand, looked dapper in his own uniform, which consisted of a classic black jacket and trousers coupled with a white dress shirt. The particular display of affection left admirers in astonishment.
“How romantic,” commented a social media user. “They are madly in love with each other,”
Jennifer and Affleck tied the knot in July of last year, roughly 20 years after they first ignited the world as Bennifer from 2002 to 2004. The couple began dating in 2002 and became engaged in 2003 before calling off the wedding and ultimately separating.
In ‘The Mother,’ Jennifer is a military-trained assassin who emerges from concealment to defend the daughter she’s never met from vengeful criminals.
Jennifer, who also functions as a producer on the film, told The Hollywood Reporter about becoming a parent, “I remember when I wasn’t a mother, I had no idea what that meant.”
“I recall excusing to my acquaintances with children at the time — I was like, ‘Why don’t you do this and that?’ Then, after having [children], I was like, ‘I’m so apologetic; I had no notion.’
The actress continued, “This film in particular is one of my favorites because it asks the question, What kind of mother are you? There are two mothers in the film: the adoptive mother and the character I portrayed, who is truly her biological mother.
It merely demonstrates that there is no flawless mother. You must be the best mother you can be based on who you are, what you know, and what you have learned and experienced throughout your life. And you transmit this trait on to your children by loving and protecting them no matter what.”
