‘Lilo & Stitch’ Live-Action Finds Nani, Lilo’s Sister 2023
According to The Hollywood Reporter’s findings, Sydney Elizebeth Agudong will play the role of Nani, Lilo’s elder sister and legal guardian, in Disney’s upcoming live-action adaptation of “Lilo & Stitch.”
Disney did not wish to comment, though.

The role of Lilo is being played by a newcomer named Maia Kealoha, while Zach Galifianakis joined the cast in February. Naturally, Stitch will be a computer-generated sweet treat. The adaptation that is planned for a huge release on Disney+ will be directed by Dean Fleischer Camp, whose previous work includes the critically acclaimed independent film Marcel the Shell With Shoes On, which was also nominated for an Academy Award for best Animated Feature.
The plot of the narrative, which is set in Hawaii, focuses on the friendship that develops between a human girl named Lilo and an extraterrestrial named Stitch, who is modeled after a dog and was designed to be a destructive force through genetic engineering.
The two individuals get together over a common appreciation for family and are ultimately successful in spite of the presence of prying social workers and aggressive extraterrestrials.
The original story for the adaption was written by Chris Kekaniokalani Bright. Chris Sanders and Dean DeBlois are responsible for writing and directing the first feature film, which, although not being a commercial success when it was released, has amassed a devoted following that has only gotten larger over the course of the intervening years.

Among Agudong’s past roles and credits include those in the television shows NCIS and Infamously in Love, as well as the feature film West Michigan. Her most recent effort, At Your Feet, an indie feature film in which she played the lead part, was just finished. She spent her whole life on the Hawaiian island of Kauai, where she was both born and reared.
Siena Agudong, who is renowned for her appearances on the Nickelodeon series Star Falls, the movie Alex & Me, and the Disney Channel original movie Upside-Down Magic, as well as the Netflix version of Resident Evil, is her younger sister. Siena Agudong has also starred in several films and television shows, including Alex & Me and the Disney Channel original movie Upside-Down Magic.
