Lucas leaves NCT and WayV for solo career, SM Entertainment announces 2023

SM Entertainment has formally announced the departure of NCT and WayV member Lucas.

SM Entertainment announced today,

“Greetings, SM Entertainment.
We inform you of the upcoming activities of our artist Lucas.

Following a lengthy conversation between Lucas and the agency, it has been decided that Lucas will depart NCT and WayV to pursue solitary endeavors.

The decision was based on the belief that it was the best way to respect the other members and the supporters; therefore, we ask all fans who have supported Lucas as a member of NCT and WayV for their understanding.

Lucas will now promote himself through a variety of individual endeavors.

Prior to this, Lucas was involved in a number of controversies involving his personal life, including infidelity in his relationships and gaslighting.
