Rich Paul Joins Live Nation Board of Directors 2023
RRich Paul, proprietor and chief executive officer of Klutch Sports Group and board member and head of sports at United Talent Agency, has joined the board of directors at Live Nation. LeBron James, John Wall, Anthony Davis, and Draymond Green are among Paul’s clients, according to Greg Maffei, chairman of the Live Nation board of directors. “Paul brings a valuable perspective from sports, business, entertainment, and more,” Maffei added. Paul, who has been named one of the most influential sports agents by Forbes, ESPN, and Sports Illustrated, which anointed him “The King Maker” on its 2019 cover, began working with LeBron James in 2003. He later joined CAA and in 2012 launched his own sports agency, Klutch. In 2020, he became the first African American to serve on the board of UTA, which had invested significantly in his company Klutch the previous year. He signed a contract with New Balance for the introduction of the Klutch Athletics apparel line last year.
