After a Year of Dating Rumors, Jennie and BTS’ V Were Filmed Holding Hands in Paris 2023

K-pop supercouple may have revealed themselves. After almost a year of dating speculations, Blackpink’s Jennie and BTS’ V (Kim Tae-hyung) were seen walking in Paris holding hands, hinting to a love relationship.

Amar Taoualit, a French journalist, tweeted TikTok footage of them walking. He told supporters he spotted Jennie and V on the Seine.

As they displayed PDA in public, LaineyGossip called the sighting romantic confirmation.

Speculation V followed and unfollowed Jennie on Instagram in December 2021, starting their relationship.

V swiftly dismissed the claims by posting on Weverse that it was unintentional follow, according to All Kpop. Is there a way to remove the recommended friends list on this Insta thing? Scary app.”

A May 2022 snapshot of Jennie and V driving on a Jeju island date sparked dating speculations again. In August and September, more private images of Jennie and V on that trip and elsewhere surfaced.

Jennie and V’s agency didn’t refute relationship rumors. YG Entertainment stated in May 2022 that “we have nothing to say [about this subject]. We’ll let you know if our response changes.” V’s agency Big Hit Music didn’t respond.

In October, YG Entertainment announced it will sue individuals sharing Jennie’s private images. According to Korea JoongAng Daily, the agency stated, “We have refrained from mentioning the matter or making an official statement in order to minimize any further damage.

“However, those private photographs have sparked indiscriminate rumors, criticism, personal attacks, sexual harassment, and personal life violations.”

“Malicious posts, or those which repeatedly upload unconfirmed claims,” the agency said, have been prosecuted.

“The photos [of Jennie] distributed online were illegally, without Jennie’s consent,” it continued. “Sharing those images is secondary victimization and can be prosecuted. Stop distributing those images.”

Jennie and V have never uploaded images or discussed their apparent connection. K-pop particularly does this. K-pop idols seldom admit to dating.
