Anna Shay, an heiress, philanthropist, and breakout protagonist of the Netflix reality series ”Bling Empire,” has passed away at the age of 62.

Anna taught us not to take life too seriously and to appreciate the finer things in life. Her influence on our lives will always be missed but never forgotten.

She stated in an interview with OprahMag.com in 2021 that she had no clue what she was getting herself into when she joined the ensemble of ”Bling Empire,” which chronicled the lives of ultra-wealthy Angelenos of Asian descent.

Initially, Shay believed that her friend and the series’ executive producer, Jeff Jenkins, wanted her to work behind the scenes.

”The next thing I knew, I was seated before the camera. I’m extremely timid, so it was difficult. I never considered doing this, particularly at my age,” she stated.

The series was compared to the blockbuster film ”Crazy Rich Asians”. The series debuted in 2021 and was terminated after three seasons.

Shay, a fan favorite on the program, was a fixture of Los Angeles’s upper class. Edward Shay, the American billionaire proprietor of the defense and government services contractor, and his half-Japanese, half-Russian wife, Ai-San, had one daughter. In an interview with Oprah, Shay revealed that her mother once told her,

“You were born in a crystal ball with a silver spoon.” The reality sensation was born in Japan and nurtured there. Her only son, Kenny Kemp, also garnered some attention, momentarily appearing on the series and accumulating an extensive collection of expensive bongs.
