They may not even be at Coachella, where they are not living their finest lives.

Loren Gray, a musician, and TikToker claims that many influencers feign attendance at the Coachella music festival.

This weekend, Gray, 20, explained the alleged phenomenon in a TikTok video that has already garnered over 2.5 million views on the social media app.

She introduced the video by stating that she finds the concept “hilarious” and wanted to share it because she hadn’t seen anyone else discussing it.

She said to her 54 million followers, “Coachella’s like the influencer Olympics, right?” “This is the spot to be. However, the majority or the majority of influencers do not attend Coachella, and I find this to be such a bizarre fact.”

The “Piece of Work” singer continued, asserting that some of these influencers will simply travel to the music festival’s location in Indio, California, and stay in an Airbnb.

She stated that they will dress up, apply cosmetics, and pose for photos without actually attending the festival.

She asserted, “They don’t have wristbands, they just drive out to the desert to take Instagram photos, make TikToks, and get ready with me videos.”

“They then return home, and that’s it.”

Gray reminded viewers at the conclusion of the 49-second clip that they shouldn’t feel “sad” or have FOMO – “fear of missing out” – because many of the social media personalities you follow aren’t actually there, either.

She added, “I thought everyone knew about this common occurrence, but I didn’t see anyone discussing it, so now you do.”

Gray was contacted by Post for comment.

Coachella is a three-day, star-studded music festival that typically takes place over two weekends in April.

In the past, Paris Hilton’s bodyguard was spotted pursuing her around the festival grounds while she wore a wild costume.

This year’s event will feature performances by Charli XCX, BLACKPINK, Blondie, and Bad Bunny.

In the remarks section of Gray’s video, many individuals confessed that they had never considered these claims to be plausible.

One person typed, “This seems so obvious, yet I had no idea lol.”

Someone else concurred, writing, “I was just wondering how they all get ready by like noon and still be “late” to catch the midnight set lmao.”

Others claimed that the video helped them cope with their inability to attend.

“I’ve never felt better about being broke,” chimed in another.

“I appreciate you telling us this so much,” concurred another user.
