According to the Oakland Police Department, two individuals were injured in a shooting early Sunday morning.

There was a shooting just before 1 a.m. In the 1300 block of 91st Avenue. Two people were found with apparent gunshot wounds and were taken to a local hospital by the officers.

One of the victims is not expected to survive his injuries, and is currently listed in grave condition. Police said that one of the victims, a resident of El Sobrante, sustained non life threatening injuries.

The shooting will be investigated by the homicide division of the department. Oakland police are not releasing the identities of the two victims at this time.
